ACCS (ASIAN CONFERENCE ON CULTURAL STUDIES) 2012
The abstract submissions deadline is March 1 2012
CONFERENCE THEME: ENCOUNTERS & EXCHANGES
The theme for the 2012 conference is ‘Encounters and Exchanges’ and the programme advisers also suggest the following sub-themes with the hope and expectation that they will excite interesting new interpretations and explorations: ‘Post/colonial or trans/colonial?’, ‘Transformations of self and place’, ‘Beyond boundaries?’, ‘Difference, diversity, plurality’, ‘Cultural re/constructions’, ‘Politics and power‘, and ‘Ideologies of culture’. We hope that the conference theme will again encourage academic and personal encounters and exchanges across national, religious, cultural and disciplinary divides.
